February Beauty Favourites

10:00

Hi everyone!

gosh do these months fly by! I can't believe tomorrow's March already. I've been sticking to a few of my regular products because of my Project Pan, but I've also been rediscovering an old favourite and there are multiple new products in here as well. Let's dive into it, shall we.

A release we can't get around and I'm sure will be mentioned by a lot of fellow bloggers, is the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani blush palette. WOW. This palette is so amazing! The blushes are all super pigmentes so they are to be used with a light hand, but I've actually been using them as eyeshadows as well. The bronzer in this palette is too orange for my skin, but makes a great crease colour. The peach-orange duochrome is a great shade for all over the lid, and of course the highlighty shades work well on the eyes too. I think this is so much more that just a blush palette. Of course the packaging is a 10/10 so how could I not mention it today? A full first impressions post can be found here.

An concealer that has probably been around for ages but I've only just discovered is the Maybelline SuperStay 24H concealer. I'm not entirely sure about the shade I picked up as it can be a bit pink toned sometimes, but it just has great coverage and really stays put for a long time. Me likey!

A beautiful new release for Spring 2016 is the Dior Nude Air Illuminating Powder in the shade Glowing Nude. I did a full review on this product here if you want to check it out. This is the most natural looking (but still very glowy) highlighting powder I have ever used! It's noticeable, but it's not glittery or TOO in your face. Just very dewy looking. I'm completely in love with this product and have been using it every single day since I got it.

I picked up a new H&M High Impact Eye Colour in the shade Shiitake recently and Oh. My. Gosh. This is just the perfect everyday, one-wash colour - which is just what I was looking for. It's looking far more greige in the pan than it actually swatches; it's more of a light bronzey taupe colour when actually swatched. I am so head over heels with the formulation as well, they stay on like any other Urban Decay eyeshadow would and are so buttery and pigmented. If you haven't checked these eyeshadows out, I highly recommend you do asap.

Lastly I re-discovered a palette I used to absolutely love, but hadn't been using in ages before I started my eyeshadow look series thingie. This month was all about the Charlotte Tilbury The Dolce Vita palette, and honestly, whenever I wasn't doing a look for the blog, I have been wearing this palette every day straight for the first half of February. It's just such a great all rounder; It has great everyday shades in there that are soft but very buildable, and with this same palette you can go from "desk to disco" (as Charlotte Tilbury describes it herself) in 2.5 seconds with the fun glittery shadow. I think this sort of quad is an absolute must-have in everyone's collection, whether it's high-end or drugstore.

Now I would love to hear what you all have been enjoying this month. Make sure to pop a comment down below!

Lots of love,
Charline
