Project Pan That Product: update #7

10:00

Hey dudettes!

Yet another month has passed and BOY OH BOY this update is a good one. I finished not one, not two, but THREE products, am I on a roll or what? Let's dive into it and see how everything has gotten on so far.

Last month the products looked like this. I took out the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pink Gold because it was impossible to get progress on, and I finished up the l'Oréal False Lash Superstar mascara. I replaced these two products with the MaxFactor Velvet Volume False Lash Effect mascara and the Mac Haute & Naughty Lash mascara.

Today, the products look like this:

The Body Shop InstaBlur primer

I must say this went quicker than I thought. When using this every single day to do my make up, I could finish this one in no time! I'm not overly disappointed that this one is finished, I think I was getting used to my Benefit POREfessional so much that this didn't really meet up to those standards. I'm glad I got some use out of it after all.

Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation

On the photo above I've marked with blue tape where the foundation is at right now. The upper rim of the tape is where the rim of the foundation is in the bottle. I know it got confusing there with the black markings. Anyways, I'm getting on very well with this one! I do have a few other bases lying around that I'm using here and there so I've not been using this one every single day this past month, but I'm happy with the progress I've made.

Benefit Hoola bronzer

This dent is growing bigger and I'm liking it. I must admit I'll be sad when this runs out, but I'm sure after seeing how long it took me to finish the Dandelion blush, this will last me at least all through summer. Still my favourite one to contour.

Benefit Dandelion blush

This is finally finished! Last month it was completely smashed and I used it for another week or so, until it was impossible to use and I had to get rid of the last bits. I've loved this one a lot and will definitely find its way back into my collection in the future (after I finish up those million other blushes first).

MaxFactor Velvet Volume False Lash Effect mascara

I remember I wasn't a big fan of this one when I first got it, but layering it with a more volumizing mascara really worked for me. Now it's dried up a little bit more, I actually enjoy using it on its own as well and it's more separating and volumizing than lengthening, which is what it did at fist (in my opinion). It's still a pain to use and I poke myself in the eye with it at least once every time I apply it, but hey. It's not a bad one at all. Alas, I can't see the progress in this tube so we'll just have to see when it's going to dry out.

Mac Haute & Naughty Lash mascara - brown

I love using this on days where I'm just quickly going out to the shop and want a little something to define my eyes. I recently only every use the skinny brush and stay far away from the fat one, as this just clumps my lashes together like crazy and I'm not about that look. Again, it's a great one to put on as a first layer, before going in with the MaxFactor one, so that's what I usually use this one for. Shame I can't see what the progress is. Again, will let you know when it's dried up.

Rimmel Stay Matte powder - 005 Silky Beige

This powder was such a pleasure to use and it will forever be my favourite. So sad it's gone, but I have a few other powders laying around that I'm exciting to be using more. I will definitely pick this one up again in the future, but I might go for the transparent one next.

Maybelline Eraser Eye concealer

Yay, I didn't forget to turn it round this time so you can see how little is left in there! Not long now before it runs out, although I reckon the sponge will stay soggy for a long time. I think I'll just throw it out as soon as I can tell that the product in the actual tube is gone, because this one is going so gross now. I can't wait to get rid of it, actually. I loved using it, but it's time to move along with this one. Maybe just another month before I do that.

That's three products down!
Therefore, three new products will be added.

Benefit Sugarbomb blush

Yes, I'm adding another Benefit blush. Why the hell not? It seems to be te only blushes that I have had for ages, but can't remember to use on a regular basis because I've got so many others to use. This colour is so good on me though, and the product itself smells amazing. Just like sugar candy! Excited to finally be using it again.

Bourjois Healthy Balance powder

I know I've hit pan on this one already, but it seemed logical for me to follow up the Rimmel powder with this one, before I start using my Soap & Glory One Heck Of a Blot. I love this powder a lot already and I have actually been using it every day ever since I ran out of my Rimmel one. It's a great one for under the eyes as well.

Kiko Ultimate Pen Long Wear Eyeliner

I love felt tip eyeliners like this but I rarely wear them anymore, ever since I ran out of my l'Oréal one. I want to get into them again and this seemed like the perfect excuse.

Was this a good update or what? Huh? Told you it would be exciting. Changes!
Can't wait to be using the newly added products a lot more now.
