December Favourites

Hi everyone,

last favourites of the year. Let's see what products I've been getting on with this month.

Smashbox Be Legendary lipstick - dirty (matte)

This gorgeous browny nude shade has been my go to this month. I still call it a nude because it's not too in-your-face, but it does scream "winter".  I'm basically obsessed with wearing darker nude lips in this time of year, so this has been a good'un lately. It's fairly new in my collection as well, which always makes it more exciting to wear it.

Too Faced Love Light Prismatic Highlighter - Ray Of Light

As I said in my last haul, I have no clue why everyone was hating on these highlighters so much. Most people found they weren't as blinding as they expected them to be, but sometimes that's what you want, right? I don't think it looks too chunky at all, although I do tend to layer it with a cream highlighter. This peachy shade is the most "neutral" looking one out of the 3, I'd say. I do like that look a lot, so I've been grabbing for this a lot this month.

Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka cologne intense (Ltd. Ed. packaging)

I picked this up on my Manchester trip at the end of October (and I say "I", but my mum bought it and we both use it). Ever since I smelled this in springtime (I remember seeing it in Harrod's back in May when I visited my brother in London) I couldn't get it out of my head, so the fact that there were still a few of these limited edition bottles left in Selfridges was just pure luck and a sign that it was meant to be in my possession. If you're like me and you love the more unisex, heavier perfumes, then definitely give this one a smell. I'm sure you'll fall in love with it.

Zoeva Caramel Melange eyeshadow palette

This palette is kind of a dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette, in a way that it also contains a lot of orangey warm eyeshadows, has a good mix of mattes and shimmers and has amazing quality. Especially for festive looks, this palette is stunning for the glittery chique eyeshadow look. I fell back in love with this palette in December!

Reiss Hannah Rollneck Jumper

I love the look of Reiss stores and I'm always in awe about their dresses, accessories, coats and jumpers. Usually I'm a bit put off by the price, but then I bumped into this one and it wasn't too bad, considering it's a really thick winter jumper and obviously it's Reiss. When I tried it on, it felt like the snuggliest of snuggly jumpers, which was exactly what I was looking for. It's such a great one for the really cold winter days, and since I didn't have any rollneck jumpers in my collection anymore, I could really use it well and I've been wearing it non-stop ever since I picked it up.

Lots of love,
