Hey everyone!

I thought I would do some kind of collective post, with all the products I've picked up in the last few months. I'm super exciting about them and can't wait to share my first thoughts with you today.

Urban Decay De-Slick Complexion Primer

I've been wanting to try this primer ever since it released, and I finally got my hands on it. I've tried it a handful of times since, and so far I really like it. It feels just the right consistency for me; silicony, but not too slippery, mattifying but just sticky enough to make sure my makeup clings to it. Loving it a lot.

The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer

Yes, I jumped on the Ordinary-bandwagon. I didn't get any actual skincare products though, as I like the routine I have going on at the moment, but instead thought I would try out the more makeup-y items. Again, this primer is silicone-bases, although it feels more gel-like than the Urban Decay one. It promises to blur and smooth your skin and help your makeup stay in place. I've only tried it once and the consistency felt really nice, I didn't test it out for a really long time though so can't give my opinion on the long-lasting effect of it yet.

The Ordinary Coverage Foundation

I picked mine up in the shade 1.1N, mainly because I've heard this foundation oxidises a lot and I'd rather end up with a foundation that's too light, rather than too dark. I really love the consistency, it reminds me of the Too Faced Bron this way, only more lightweight. The coverage is nice and it blends really well. I do think, however, I could have done with ONE shade up. But I can work with it in winter, I'm sure. I also really like the minimalistic aspect of the packaging.

Estée Lauder x Victoria Beckham Bronzer - 02 Saffron Sun

I'm not sure if they did multiple shades in this (I only ever saw this one, but it's called "02" so...) but I ended up with this one, which is quite the perfect shade for me! It's not too dark, but still gives me a good bronzed look. I haven't really dared to use it too much - only tried it out in store and wore it once when I got it, as I have so many bronzers that I'm using at the moment, whilst I also really want to try and use up my Chanel one, but I will soon start to dip my brushes into this one, as it's one of the prettiest bronzers I've ever owned. I mean, seriously, look at that packaging? It's so luxurious!

Illamasqua Powder Blusher - Naked Rose

I picked this up on a whim, because I'd been eyeing up their products for years and never actually ended up trying some out. I've heard so many good things about the contour sets, the eyeshadow quads and the highlighters, but I have enough of all three of those, so I thought I'd try a blush instead. I don't own a shade like this, it's a mauve blush pink, which honestly smells like one of those really old powders from the early days, it's really pigmented (so best to be used with a very fluffy brush and a really light hand) but the shade is nothing like I own already. I'm not sure if it will ever become my favourite, but it's a nice one to have around for the cool-toned looks.

Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof - 857 Legendary Green

This is such a gorgeous, true green, matte dark eyeliner pencil, however I never thought I'd really need it. But then I received a gift card from Ici Paris XL (which is kind of our version of Sephora) for my birthday and it was the exact amount of what I would pay for this pencil, so I picked it up anyways. I'm not sure if this particular shade is limited edition, as it is presented in their Winter/Christmas '17 Collection, so if that's the case and you like the look of this, you better get it fast! I've had the swatch on my hand before and I must say it really did last long, even after trying to wipe it off. Can't wait to start using this one.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner - Intense Black

I finally have this back in my life! When I went to London in the Black Friday weekend, they were having 10% off makeup in Selfridges I believe, so I decided to stock up on this for if I ever run out of eyeliner (which won't be for a very long time, but, you know...) I have tried and tested this liner before and it's one of the best ones out there. It's not too expensive, either, but worth every penny, as it's super long-lasting yet so easy to remove in the evening, and most of all: it's very easy to use and create a winged liner with. Highly recommend this.

Anastasia Subculture eyeshadow palette

This palette got a lot of negative attention when it first released, but then I learned that FeelUnique.com now sells Anastasia, so I thought I would give it a go, as the shades in this palette look stunning. So far I've only tried the left side of the palette on my eyes with a brush, but all the matte shades seem to swatch very nicely - they are so crazy pigmented! I used a brush to apply them on my lids (the fluffy one I always use and love with most eyeshadows) and altough they have some kickback, it's nothing too crazy, besided the shade Dawn (that one is super powdery and spills more powder than is actually picked up by my high-quality Zoeva crease brush, so weird). So I guess I understand the fuss around it, but when you know you have to be careful with them being quite powdery and kicking back a lot when you dip your brush in them, you can work with them quite well. They blended nicely and stayed on really well. I like the shades in here, so I can't wait to use this more!

Lots of love,
Charline
