ESQIDO Lashes: review + GIVEAWAY

Hey everyone!

Today is a bit of a different post, as I usually don't talk about falsies on my blog. I rarely ever wear them, as I just don't think I'm made out for applying them (or I don't have the patience for it).

When ESQIDO reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try out some of their ESQIDO mink lashes along with the ESQIDO eyelash glue, I was intrigued. I've been wanting to try wearing them again, and see if these particular lashes were the ones to get me hooked.

Read on to see how I got on with them, and especially keep reading if you want to win this pair with a tube of lash glue included!

The style of lashes I picked out is the EL-101 Little Black Lash*, as they seemed the most natural looking to me. Celebrities like Gigi Hadid have been wearing them on the red carpet, so I figured these must be a connaisseur favourite!

The size of these seemed pretty okay, I didn't have to trim them too much, but they were slightly too big for me to apply just like that.

The only other lashes I've ever worn are from Eyelure, which typically have a clear lash band. This one feels a lot sturdier, is thicker and also pitch black. I'm on the fence about this, as yes, it means you won't see 99% of the glue you've applied, and it almost looks like you're wearing eyeliner when you don't, but it also means you have to master the art of applying them super close to your lash line, which clearly I haven't done yet. I guess it's an easy fix if you tightline the upper lash line, but that's something I don't tend to do (it freaks me out!)

Overall I do think these are easy to apply, but it's probably just me that needs a bit more practise with them. The quality of them feels really nice and I'm in absolute awe with the style! If I ever wear falsies, it's a natural looking one, so these were just the right ones for me.

... and after, with only the lashes added, and a little bit of black liquid liner right on the inner corners:

The Companion Eyelash Glue* that Esqido also sells, I find really comfortable. It dries down transparent, and if you're interested: it's also latex free! It's really easy to remove from the lashes after wearing them, but be careful when applying: when you've applied the glue to the lash band, you can't wait too long to apply the lashes, as it won't really dry down all that sticky like most lash glues do.

Obviously, you can go and pick them up for yourselves, a little birdy told me you get 10% off your first order when you subscribe ;-)

But the team at ESQIDO PR was kind enough to send a second pair of the Little Black Lash and a tube of Companion eyelash glue, so that one of you could try it out for yourself!

All you have to do is head over to my instagram @charlinehasablog and follow the instructions on the giveaway photo.
