Project Pan That Product: update #28

Hey peeps!

I'm really happy with the progress of this month. I feel like I'm doing so well with this project and I can't remember a time where I didn't do it. It's making so much sense in my life right now and I'm going through my makeup like it's nothing. So chuffed.

Anyways, here's this month's update!

I used up the Urban Decay Perversion mascara and replaced it with the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume mascara. I also finished the Make Up For Ever Step 1 Mattifying Primer and entered the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD concealer - Y23 into the project.

Today, the products look like this:

Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes palette

I'm really trying to go through this palette and I've used it a few times at the beginning of this month, making me hit pan on two more shades in the top row. The darker shades are just so pigmented, I really don't need much of them so I wonder if I'm ever going to be able to hit pan on them. I didn't use it all that much towards the end of January, as I had other palettes to play around with. But I'm still digging this one for travel.

Benefit Coralista blush

This one is completely finished! I'm so happy to move on from this one, as it was getting a bit of a pain to incorporate it. I used to love this back in the days, but I have so many other products in my collection right now that are much more suitable for my personal likings.

Estée Lauder Little Black Liner - 01 Onyx

This one is actually too dried up to use anymore! I kept it in a jar instead of a drawer for the past month, just to get out the last bit of product, making sure the ultra-fine end was pointing down. That's the one I use the most anyways. I'm so sad it's gone though, I really really loved it.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume mascara

I'm in two minds about this mascara, as I really like how it performs, but it's so weird that the formula feels quite dry to me. I wonder how long it's going to last me. Until then, I will enjoy using it a lot and I have been using it every single day. One thing to mention though: on me, it's not that volumising in particular. It's more lengthening, really... Shame, as it's called "major volume" mascara :-)

ColourPop Super Shock Cheek - Lunch Money

I've been using this so so much lately and I'm really loving it. The dent is growing so that's really positive. Nothing much to say about it other than that. I'm just doing really well with this one!

Maybelline ColorSensational lipstick - 740 Coffee Craze

I really wish I would have used this one up by now, but there's still the tiniest bit left. I have kind of neglected it as I was getting the last bits out of my Mac Velvet Teddy, but I will take this out of the project because I will try and use this up within the next week or so, and I just really want to move onto a different lipstick now. I'm getting a bit over this shade, to be honest, as it's quite pale and doesn't have any pinkness to it. I used to absolutely love it, but I'm kind of done with it now... New lipstick it is.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD concealer - Y23

On the days where I needed some more coverage, this one has been a saviour. It's quite pale so I usually do mix another concealer in for covering redness and spots, but it's the perfect shade for underneath the eyes. I have no clue about the amount of product in the tube, but I think this will last me for a whole while.

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-Colour - Marinière N°02

The pan is ever growing on this one and I'm so excited, but also really sad. This is just my all time favourite (ltd. ed.) bronzer that I luckily stocked up on when it was still on sale. I just absolutely adore the consistency of this product, hence why I use it everyday.

Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush

This blush is over 3 years old now, it being a limited edition one from back in the day. I have been using it loads in the past few months anyways, as you can tell by the little dent in the top left corner, but I'm really trying to go through this one. It's limited edition anyways, so I can't use it for blog posts anymore. It's a beautiful one in all its aspects though: the packaging is gorgeous (although you can't really tell anymore, but it used to have the most beautiful roses imprinted on it) and the shade itself is so pretty on my skintone.

Topshop Lipstick - Naturist

This mauve toned creamy lipstick is perfect for this time of year, going from winter to spring. I used to wear it a lot when I first got it and I'm excited to start using it more again.

The Balm Mr. Write Now eyeliner pencil - Vince

This matte grey pencil is just one I should use more often, as it's really nice for the cool toned looks, but it also gives that bit of definition to the lower lashline without being too harsh. It's getting quite old and stiff as well, so I better use it while I still can.

Lots of love,
