March Favourites

Why does it always feel like I've only done a favourites post last week?
I've tried out heaps of new products in the past few months, so It's quite an exciting one today, as I've got a lot to share this month!

Benefit Dandelion blush

Starting off with a few products I've had in my collection for a while now. The first one being the Dandelion blush, one I discovered many year ago and I only rediscovered recently. I did have this little mini-version sitting in my drawers for well over a year, but I have used up a complete full size in the past. When I wore this, I only realised how much staying power it has, and how much better it is than many other blushes in my collection. I really couldn't believe my eyes when I looked in the mirror at the end of the day! The shade is so pretty as well, so this was a definite favourite in March.

Estée Lauder x Victoria Beckham bronzer - 02 Saffron Sun

Another product that I've had for a good few month but didn't really touch until a few weeks ago, is this gorgeous matte bronzer. It's just the right shade, not too dark, not too light, not too warm, not too cool, just right. I love how it's pigmented, but also blends out well and is buildable. Is this the next bronzer I will pan in my Project Pan That Product? Stay tuned...

Dior NudeAir Luminizer Glow Addict - 002 Holo Gold

You must be so tired of me going on and on about this highlighter, but I've developed such an obsession for this shade. I won't go on too long about it, but if you check some of my recent posts you will see it in action and hear me sing praises to the gods about this beautiful peachy, wet-looking highlighter.

Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eye Palette - Scandalust

One I only received this month and is almost too pretty to touch, is this MJ number. I did already own an eyeshadow palette from Marc Jacobs - one I believe they don't do anymore, which is called The Dreamer - and I knew the quality of the shadows would be spot on. I love the colour scheme of this palette, apart from the second shade, which is the only pale matte shade. I wish that one would translate a lot lighter on the lid than it actually does. I feel like there's no good shade to set down my primer with, so I do use that cool toned greige shade, but it instantly makes the look a lot darker than I would maybe want to. But I can definitely make it work, and when I'm at home doing my makeup, I'll reach for a paler matte shadow to do so. The pinky red shade is interesting, and at first I was really bummed it didn't look more like a true red, but I guess this shade really fills in the need for me to get the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette. I'm usually not for that sort of cranberry shade, but it's nice to know I have it somewhere in my collection, and I've actually been loving wearing it this month.

Maybelline Total Temptation mascara

There are definitely some pro's and con's with this mascara. Pro: it's super black. Con: it has a very strong, artificial fruity scent. Pro: it really separates my lashes, which I absolutely love. Con: the wand feels quite plasticy and I sometimes poke my eye with it. Overall, I love the effect it gives, and the pro's definitely outweigh the con's at the moment, so I've been reaching for it quite often lately.

Dose Of Colors liquid lipstick - Truffle

I've sort of re-discovered liquid lipsticks, as I hadn't worn them in ages. I was so stoked when I first got my Dose Of Colors ones, as I had never tried them. The formula is super lightweight and it stays put all day, even through lunch/dinner. I'm really impressed with the staying power! I particularly love this shade, as it gives me all the Spring vibes.

Let me know if you've tried any of these, and how you get on with them. Also, as always, feel free to link me to your favourites posts, as I love to read those!

Lots of love,
