Project Pan That Product: update #29

10:00

Hey peeps!

A new month always means a new update on my Project Pan That Product on the blog.

Quick mention: I didn't realise just how monochrome the products in this post were until shooting the pictures. I did my best to add in some colour with the coasters :-)

Here we go.

I used up the Benefit Coralista blush and replaced it with the Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush. I also finished the Maybelline ColorSensational lipstick in 740 Coffee Craze and entered the Topshop Lipstick  in Naturist into the project. Lastly I used up the Estée Lauder Little Black Liner in 01 Onyx  and put the The Balm Mr. Write Now eyeliner pencil in Vince in the project.

Today, the products look like this:

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD concealer - Y23

After emptying my BareMinerals concealer, I can finally focus 100% on using this one up. I've been reaching for it from time to time, but it's quite a messy product and I don't always have time for that in the mornings. When I'm in a hurry, a doe-foot applicator is so much quicker. You can never hurry with this tube, as it's easy to squeeze out too much product. But I love the formula for when I really need the coverage to hide my beautiful eye-bags.

ColourPop Super Shock Cheek - Lunch Money

I'm enjoying this highlighter so much, yet there's still so much left in there! No matter how I apply it - with my fingers or a brush - this always looks good on me. I tend to go really overboard with highlighter lately, as I sometimes top this creamy one with a powder one. It can go heavy really quickly, which is never my intention! But I guess this is the perfect layering-highlighter if you're ever looking out for one.

Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes palette

Last month, whenever I've worn eyeshadow, I reached mostly for my new Nars palette. I did end up hitting pan on that shadow on the bottom row slightly. Mainly because I thought "this dent is so big, I'm not sure why I haven't hit pan yet" and I couldn't wait so I pricked in the middle with something sharp, only to find that yes, I still had a few uses to go before hitting pan actually.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume mascara

I've been switching between this mascara and the Too Faced one (as I had a mini laying around that was drying out and needed TLC) but I've been using mainly this mascara on an everyday basis. It's still going strong and that's about as much as I can tell you about that.

The Balm Mr. Write Now eyeliner pencil in Vince

I clearly wasn't thinking straight when putting this one in the project last month. I've tried to use it a couple of times and it has just become really stiff and dried out, it's actually painful to use on my eyes. It thugs so much and that's just not what it's supposed to do! I'm going to take this out and get rid of it straight away, as there's no point keeping it in here.

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-Colour - Marinière N°02

This bronzer is on its last legs! I'm so thrilled to be moving onto another one, but also it means my favourite bronzer in the world is completely run out. Luckily I still have a back-up that I haven't touched yet, as this was limited edition and I knew I wouldn't be able to get my hands on it anymore. I will keep it for some point later on in life, as I have so many new bronzers laying around, waiting to be used. I guess this will last me until next month, hopefully I can give you the final call in the next update.

Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush

I'm making progress on this more and more, and I have been using this daily since months before introducing it into the project last month. Unlike the Mac Melba blush I tried to pan in this project ages ago, this one actually shows some progress, but I just genuinely enjoy using this one everyday. I feel like I'm going to be sad when it's gone, but I also feel like this is going to last me for a whoooole while...

Topshop lipstick - Naturist

I think this lipstick goes so well with my latest looks, and especially with the rosy tones in my clothes that I've been wearing lately. I knew I would find a purpose for this lipstick and I'm making the most use out of it. I'd say you can tell it's been used a lot, but there's still so much more left to finish!

1 PRODUCT OUT, 1 PRODUCT IN:

l'Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim - Grey

I've had this eyeliner for so long now, and I really want to get this out of the way. I know it looks really good on me, so I might as well make the most out of it before getting rid of it. It might already be halfway to being dried up, as I haven't used this for so long. I don't really wear a lot of eyeliner anymore, especially not on regular work days. We'll see how I can make it work this Spring.

Lots of love,
