Project Pan That Product: update #30

10:00

Hey peeps!

A new month always means a new update on my Project Pan That Product on the blog.
Here we go.

I took out the The Balm Mr. Write Now eyeliner pencil in Vince and replaced it with the l'Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Grey.

Today, the products look like this:

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-Colour - Marinière N°02

I thought I would have finished this powder by now, as most of it crumbled out of the pan while I was using it. The last bits are really holding onto it, though, and I really have to get in there to get the most out of this product. Recently, I've been combining it with the Nars Laguna bronzer for contour, then this Chanel bronzer for all over the face & down the neck bronzing. I'm not a massive fan of the Nars one, but this combo has been working well for me. I'm pretty sure it will be gone next month so I can throw in a new product.

Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes palette

I've used this one a little bit, but don't find myself reaching for eyeshadows every single day. I do try to stay away from other palettes and go for this one when I have a bit of time, but I'll always reach for other palettes when I'm going out and have more time to get ready. Still, I think I've made the slightest progress on this one, if you really compare the pics you can see the pans have grown on the lightest shades just a little bit. I had no idea how hard it could be to use up eyeshadows!

l'Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim - Grey

I've tried to wear this eyeliner on a few occasions in March, but it's just not something I reach for all that often anymore. I guess my makeup habits just changed and I can create an awesome look with just eyeshadows. I do think this eyeliner goes really well with my new, taupe-colored specs, so I will try to wear it at times where I have more time to spend on doing my makeup.

ColourPop Super Shock Cheek - Lunch Money

You can tell I've been using this a lot, can't you? I love this so much for layering ANY powder highlighter on top of. I've grown fond of this one and I will genuinely be sad when it's gone. I do think I can get another 2 months use out of it. I'm also excited to be moving onto some other cream and liquid highlighters I've recently accumulated in my collection, so I'm so happy I'm doing well on this product.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume mascara

Apart from this mascara, I have two others on the go at the moment: two recent releases, one from Maybelline and one from Benefit. I really couldn't wait to try them out and give my opinion in my haul, so I really had to open them... I must say though that the Marc Jacobs one is still the one I reach for on the daily, because it's a bit less messy and also a bit more dried out, so it's easier to use. I have really found my love for this mascara and I thought it wasn't all that special at first, but now it's dried down a little bit, I'm really loving it. I hope I can squeeze another month out of it, before my eyes start to react.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD concealer - Y23

I've been using this so much lately, actually so much so that I had to squeeze out what was still left in the tube, into a little container. It is such a pain in the ass to use, as I always squeeze out way more product than I need, so I figured it would be easier to use when it's in a little pot anyways. I consider this one finished and I'm excited to add a new base product into the project.

Topshop lipstick - Naturist

I've only put this into the project about 2 months ago, and I had a lot left last month, but sadly, I was too rough with it and the entire bullet (or what was left of it) broke off... I suck at repairing lipsticks or potting them or anything, so I just dealt with it and threw it out. AIn't nobody got time for holding onto broken lipsticks when you've got so many others in your collection. it was an okay lipstick and a really nice colour, but never my top favourite one, so I didn't really bother with making the most of the broken-off piece. I can now move onto a new lippie, hooray!

Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush

There's so much more pan showing than there was last time, and I'm so excited! I know I had been using this for a long time before I put it into the project, but that was when I really started wearing it every single day. I rarely reach for a different blush - even when I'm really going for it with my makeup. I think this blush gives me the nicest, healthiest flush on the cheeks, and the quality is just spot on. SO sad you can't really see the pattern anymore now. The flower-relief was so pretty when I first got it. That being said, I do think I will go through this blush quicker than I thought and I'm so happy to be seeing the progress on this every single day.

2 PRODUCTS OUT, 2 PRODUCTS IN:

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick - Bow 'n' Arrow

I've been wearing this since the Topshop lipstick broke, which was quite early in the month, so I've definitely rekindled with this liquid lipstick. So much so that I ordered myself this shade in the lipstick bullet as well. SO stoked to be wearing that one as well, but first I need to get this one out of the way. I actually really like this lippie and I need to make sure I use it up before the summery weather kicks in. I always get more autumnal vibes with this cool toned browny nude, but hey. I know it suits me alot and I can always layer a lipgloss on top, or put a more rosy or warm toned lip liner underneath to shift the colour a little bit. I'm curious to see how much product is actually still left in the tube, as right now I can't really tell!

Essence Brighten Up! Banana Powder

As you can see, I've majorly hit pan on this powder already, but for the last month or so I've sort of forgotten about this powder. I want to go back to it and get it out of the way. It's a nice powder for underneath the eyes, but not so much for the entire face. I do use it on my whole face just to get it out of the way, as it's just a bit too much of a faff using multiple powders, I find, especially on work-days where I only have about 15 minutes to do my makeup. I'm confident I can use this up in a month or 2, since most of the product is already gone.

Lots of love,
