Currently In Rotation #10

Hey everyone!

My favourites posts are always full of products I absolutely adore.
This doesn't always mean it's about products I've been using every single day, but it's more about the things that really impressed me and I can highly recommend to people.

For my Currently In Rotation posts, it's more about things that have been in my daily routine for quite a while, things I'm testing out, things I've found in my collection recently that I want to get more use out of, or even things that I want to get rid of, but use as much as I can anyways and see if I can make them work, so I don't have to just throw them out or give them away if it's not necessary.

Let's dive in.

BareMinerals Complexion Rescue

I hadn't used this one in ages, but I've recently picked it up again, especially on good skin days. I've also been enjoying applying it with the Real Techniques Stippling Brush, which I never did before. I think the combination works so well together and it makes it really blend into the skin nicely. I had forgotten how good this product actually was and I honestly want to use this up and make room for some other foundations that have been lying around. I might actually put this in my next Project Pan update... To be continued.

Nars Soft Matte concealer

After everyone was raving about this, I knew I had to try it out as well, and gosh am I so happy I did. This must be one of the best concealers I've tried in years, especially for covering my spots. The shade I have isn't particularly nice underneath my eyes, but I actually like the formula for covering my dark circles, too. I might have to pick up a lighter shade for the under-eye area, as it's such a great, full-coverage concealer, that sticks around all day long. I have been alternating between this one and another concealer I've been testing out in-between, but this is for the days where I don't have a lot of time and I want to use a concealer that I can trust.

Nars cheek duo - Orgasm blush & Laguna bronzer

As I have expressed earlier, I'm not a massive fan of either of these cheek colours. I'm thankful I found this duo last year in Sephora in France, so I didn't have to get the full sizes. I'm used to the bronzer shade now, and as you can tell I've used quite a lot of it, but I still apply this as my contour, only for a warmer bronzer to go on top to cancel out the weird undertone in this bronzer. I just think it makes me look weird when I wear it on its own. The blush is okay though but I guess I just expected more from a blush that has been raved about all these years. I wasn't blown away and it's quite tough to get the right amount of pigment on my blush brush when the pan is so tiny, but even besides that, it can look quite patchy on me, which is never a good look. I'm trying to make it work and I'm probably going to finish up that Laguna bronzer soon, then I will keep the blush around for if I ever think of wearing it.

Zoeva Nude Spectrum blush palette

I've picked this up not too long ago, and I'm quite loving the muted shades in here. Especially going into summer, I think these shades look really nice on a more tanned skin (or bronzed up, that is for me!) and it really adds to that bronze goddess look that I sometimes tend to go for on nights out. All of them are very pigmented, so use a light hand with these if you think of picking this up as well. But overall I'm very happy with the quality and the sleek packaging, and of course the price range as well. It's so affordable and you get some pretty amazing shades all in one palette.

Maybelline Total Temptation mascara

This is the mascara I'm currently using a lot, and the one that's also in my Project Pan since recently. I'm really just forcing myself to use this more, as it can make my lashes look beautiful, but for some reason I don't like this mascara when i'm applying it. Is it the strong scent? Is it the plastic wand? I don't know, it might be both. But I still want to use the product for at least its few months that it's supposed to last. Also I don't want to have too many mascaras open, so they don't get germs in them or they don't dry out for no reason, and there are so many mascaras waiting for me, I can't wait to be done with this one. But I'm trying to use this for every tiny little makeup look I do (even on the blog) because my lashes do actually look quite good when i've used this one!

Lots of love,
