Project Pan That Product: update #31

10:00

Hey peeps!

A new month always means a new update on my Project Pan That Product on the blog.
Here we go.

I took out the Topshop Naturist lipstick and replaced it with the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow 'n' Arrow. I also finished the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD concealer - Y23 and inserted the Essence Brighten Up! Banana Powder.

Today, the products look like this:

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-Colour - Marinière N°02

This powder is finally finished! I think it lasted me a pretty long time and I'm so glad I got so much use out of a quite expensive bronzer. I still think this is the prettiest bronzer in the entire world and I just wished they would make it again. I still have a backup laying around though so no worries!

Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes palette

I have been reaching a lot for my warm toned eyeshadow palettes lately and I feel like I won't ever use this one up. I think I've made a lot of progress in this palette, but don't want it to sit around, not being used. Emptying an eyeshadow palette is a lot harder than I thought! Therefor I will replace it with a different product, so that I can use any other eyeshadow palette in the near future.

l'Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim - Grey

Same as with the last eyeliner I had in the project, I wear it from time to time, but on regular work days I don't really wear liquid liner. I've been going for a more natural look a bit more and even if I'm going full glam, I don't really wear a lot of eyeliner. I'm trying to reach for it whenever I feel like it, though, and I'm quite sure this will dry up easily, as I've had it for a long time anyways. I do think it really suits me when I'm wearing my glasses!

ColourPop Super Shock Cheek - Lunch Money

This is going so well, and I'm happy I'm getting through it. It's starting to break as the product moves around alot at this stage. I have to push it back into the pan a little bit after using it, as it tends to crawl over the rim when I press on it too hard. I get tired of using the same highlighter all the time, and I'm hoping this will be gone after another two months or so. I'm thinking about which highlighter to enter next, and I just have no idea! ;-)

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume mascara

I think it's time for this mascara to go. It still works alright, but after a few months it will have probably collected a lot of germs and bacteria, and I just don't want to risk it. My eyes are acting up so much lately and I feel like it's just time to change to a different mascara. I really enjoyed this one a lot and I can highly recommend it.

Essence Brighten Up! Banana Powder

This one is going fast, as I already hit pan when I added it to the project last month. As I probably said last month as well, it's an okay powder, especially for underneath the eyes, and even Tati Westbrook mentioned it in her top picks for $6 video a while back. I'm quite happy to go back to my Stay Matte from Rimmel though. But for only a few quid I think this is a great option. Glad to see I'm making so much progress on this!

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick - Bow 'n' Arrow

I'm enjoying this liquid lipstick so much lately, and I think this shade suits me so well! I'm a sucker for browny nude lips and I feel like this is the perfect everyday one. I can't really tell how far down I'm on this product, so I guess we'll just have to wait until it's sort of too dry to use...

Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush

The product in the pan is definitely shrinking, and the pan that's showing is definitely growing! I thought I would be tired of using this blush by now, but it's just such a great everyday blush, I can't get enough of it.

3 PRODUCTS OUT, 3 PRODUCTS IN:

The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick - Nevada Gold

Ever since I picked this up when it first released, I honestly haven't looked at it twice. It's quite glittery and I just don't reach for it. I don't know why, as it's a gorgeous, peachy champagne shade, and I really think I need to start using this one. Perfect time to enter it into the project, see if that helps.

Maybelline Total Temptation mascara

I love this mascara, but at the same time I hate it. I think it smells too strongly of a fruit I can't identify (I think maybe watermelon?), and I just don't like that with mascaras. Also, the wand is plastic, and I really prefer bristly brushes over plastic ones. But I do think this mascara makes my lashes look great, so I think I should really start using this more and make sure this doesn't go bad before getting the most out of it.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer

I've loved this one a lot in the past, and sort of forgot about it when I was going crazy over bronzers. I have so many that I sometimes forget what I still have and used to love. I'm going through this one, as I know they've repackaged it recently, and I also still have another bronzer in my collection from Estée Lauder x Victoria Beckham that has a really similar undertone. I thought I'd go through the non-limited edition one first, for that reason.

Lots of love,
