June Favourites

Hey everyone!

Time is fying by and the end of June has come. Time for some favourites...
I know these are all from my Makeup Haul two weeks ago, but honestly, it's been so exciting to try out all this new makeup and I've genuinely been loving all of these!

Let's get into it.

Becca Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder

I never thought a powder like this could work as well on me as it does, but wow is this one amazing! It gives the weirdest feeling on the skin when you apply it with a brush: as if your brush is wet, but it isn't! It feels really refreshing and it still has that mattifying aspect to it. I'm very in love with this product. The packaging is also very nice, where it still has a lid to close off the powder within the screw-on lid. That way I spill way less than I do with some other loose powders! Such a stunner this one, highly recommend.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder - Dim Light (mini)

I've been using this sporadically, as it's not a product I reach for on the daily, but when I remember to use it, I will usually use it as a really subtle highlighter. I can't wear it all over my face, because I have quite an oily T-zone. I will run it past the high points of my cheeks and the inner corners of my eyes, then also put a bit on my collarbone. I always thought people were crazy for using it as a highlighter but I get it now. For some of us it's just too glowy to use as a setting powder, so we just use it as a subtle glow on the areas where we need it. Not sure I needed it in my life, but I'm glad I can experience it myself now, and put it to good use.

Fenty Beauty Match Stix Trio - Medium 200

I was very surprised I got on with these sticks so well, as I normally don't prefer cream products over powder ones. I do think the consistency of these is so nice, they feel like a cream-to-powder formula, and that's probably why I like them so much. I especially love the staying power of the concealer(/foundation) one, it really stays put all day! Definitely a new favourite of mine.

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Multi-Colour Powder - Medium

You know this was going to be in here at some pooint, right? I am so obsessed with the Chanel Healthy Glow bronzing powders, and they do these every Spring. I haven't bought one last year as I didn't think they looked special enough. I believe they brought out some permanent ones back then. Obviously this year they are limited edition (or at least I think so) and I had to get my hands on one. It looks so fresh and glowy without being too in your face. I always get complimented when I wear the healthy glow powders so of course this would be a favourite of mine this month. So happy with this one in my collection!

Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick - Do No Wrong (matte)

If you're ever on the market for a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk lipstick, this one is a really close shade match. For £17.50 (as opposed to £24) you really can't go wrong with this beautiful, nude pink shade. I don't love pink shades in general but this one is just peachy enough to make it work for me. It is so comfortable on the lips and it really stays put well. I absolutely love the formula of the matte Be Legendary lipsticks, and I would honestly get them in every shade! I think they are really up against the Mac lipsticks, which retail for the same price, and come in all sorts of colours as well. Definitely go and look at the Smashbox lipsticks if you were thinking of getting a new lipstick, and don't just go straight to a Mac counter. These are very good quality as well!

Lots of love,
