Project Pan That Product: update #32

10:00

Hey peeps!

A new month always means a new update on my Project Pan That Product on the blog.
Here we go.

I took out the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-Colour - Marinière N°02 and replaced it with the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer. I also finished the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume mascara and inserted the Maybelline Total Temptation mascara. Finally I decided to replace the Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes palette with the The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick - Nevada Gold.

Today, the products look like this:

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer

I know you can't really tell yet, but I've been using it every day now for the past month and I've fallen abck in love with it! I had to get used to tasting the cocoa on my lips when applying this all over, but hey, I'm not complaining. The undertone is so nice and because it's matte, I can really build up the highlighter as well. Definitely back into it after adding it to my daily routine.

The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick - Nevada Gold

I must say I don't wear a lot of eyeshadow these days. Just like with the Smashbox palette, I don't really reach for it that often. On work days I don't tend to go for a lot of makeup, I just keep it simple with some mascara. In the weekends though, I really try to use this one and I've definitely found a way to combine this with some of my other eyeshadows.

l'Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim - Grey

Again, this liner hasn't seen much light in the past few months. I feel like it's more of a winter shade, rather than a Spring or Summer one. I haven't been wearing a lot of cool toned looks, and not even liner in general, so I'm not really sure what to do with this product. I'm going to take this one back out of the project and replace it with a product I really, genuinely use every day.

ColourPop Super Shock Cheek - Lunch Money

I've been wearing the hell out of this highlighter and I feel really chuffed with that. You can't really tell, though. I love combining it with a powder highlighter, but if I have to be quick I'll just wear it on its own. Definitely a favourite on the daily, and I'm sure I'll get through it very soon.

Maybelline Total Temptation mascara

I've been using this one quite a lot, although I've also been changing it up with another one from time to time. I guess I will be using this one for a few months, as it's really quite new. Still not absolutely loving it, but I'm finding a way to really make it work for me. There's not much else to say about this one for now.

Essence Brighten Up! Banana Powder

This one is so close to being finished, I'm going to call it a day! The last bits will probably be gone within the next week. I'm glas I can move onto a new one, as I'm stocking up on my base products a lot recently...

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick - Bow 'n' Arrow

I've been trying to make this cool toned lippie work in the warmer months by layering a more spring-appropriate one on top. I feel like this liquid lipstick still adds that grungy-effect in that way, and also makes my regular lipstick on top stay put a lot longer. I never even thought of doing this before, but now that I don't really feel like wearing it on its own, I've discovered this actually makes other lipsticks really long-lasting! Still going strong, this one, but I feel like I'm using it a lot and I can kind of see a lot of product is gone when I really look into the tube. Shame you can't tell from the outside.

Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush

As you can tell, the pan has grown a bit more, but I can really see the dent around it has become so much bigger as well. I'm so happy I can really tell I'm progressing with this blush. I still love it as much as the day I got it. I'm actually not looking forward to the day this will be finished :-(

2 PRODUCTS OUT, 2 PRODUCTS IN:

Rimmel Insta Fix&Matte powder

As we all know, Rimmel rock the powder department. I do think this is a nice powder to use, and I especially prefer the packaging of this one to the Stay Matte. I like the Stay Matte powder a little bit better, but I'm not sure why... Still, I'd love to go through this one before I start my new Stay Matte.

Nyx HD Studio Photogenic concealer

This concealer is one I seriously need to get through. It's been open for a while and I've only been using it occasionally. It's a little light for my spots but I like it a lot underneath the eyes. It doesn't have a lot of staying power, which is why I usually don't reach for it. I need to get on top of it, so that's why I'm adding it to the project. I'm happy to change back to panning concealers instead of eyeliners for a while.

Lots of love,
