Project Pan That Product: update #34
10:00
Hey peeps!
A new month always means a new update on my Project Pan That Product on the blog.
Here we go.
Here we go.

I took out the ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Lunch Money and replaced it with the Nyx Away We Glow liquid highlighter - 04 Crystal Glare.

Today, the products look like this:

Rimmel Insta Fix&Matte powder
I was actually surprised how fast this went after I hit pan! Seems like I use more product than I thought. It's completely fallen apart a few weeks after I hit pan and is now completely gone. Such a shame I couldn't use it longer, but I guess I had used it quite a lot already before I put it in the project pan. Let's see what we'll move onto next.
Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush
Same story as every month: I use this one to death and the pan only grows slightly. I'd like to think I can see the progress when comaring the two photos, but this will obviously last me a long time, still. Sure, the product is becoming less and less everyday and what you can't really see on the picture is that the powder around the pan is sinking a lot as well. I'll be sad when it's gone, I'll admit, but I would love to be able to move onto another blush soon as well. I feel like I don't use any of my other blushes anymore!
The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick - Nevada Gold
Maybelline Total Temptation mascara
I decided somewhere mid-month that I'd get rid of this one, partly for hygienic reasons, partly because I really wasn't getting on with the mascara. I'm so happy to finally start using my back-up mascaras, as I had so many others laying around! I definitely think a mascara has to be thrown out after 3-4 months, just because my eyes are so sensitive and I can feel it when a mascara is drying out and becoming a bit stingy for my eyes. Not really sad to be moving onto another one, as this one just wasn't my jam.
The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick - Nevada Gold
I have been wearing this a lot more recently, in combination with my Urban Decay Born To Run palette. I love laying down a warm toned base with that palette, then going over it on the mobile lid with this eyeshadow stick. I'm honestly still discovering so many ways to wear this eyeshadow stick and only recently have I found its full potential. Still loads left in there, though. *sigh*
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick - Bow 'n' Arrow
I've decided to finally get rid of this lippie. I'm convinced there's still a bunch of product left in there but I don't really enjoy using it that much anymore. I enjoy regular lipsticks a lot more than I do liquid lipsticks, and I still have the actual lipstick in this same shade that I will probably pop out again in a few months. Maybe I will put that one in the project later on, after I've made use out of the one I'm going to put in now.
Nyx HD Studio Photogenic concealer
Ah, I can feel that this one has dried up already and most of it is gone. Surprisingly, this is one of those products that you really thought you'd get more use out of. I always have to double dip to use on my entire face, so that's probably the reason. Anyways, I enjoyed it while it lasted!
Nyx Away We Glow liquid highlighter - 04 Crystal Glare
I can sort of see that I've already used up a lot of this. I enjoy this so much for summer! It really gives me a super natural glow and I'm so glad it works well on top of powder products as well. I can highly recommend this highlighter so everyone that's looking for a wet-but-natural glow. I'm putting it to good use, which is ultimately what this project is all about.
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer
Still... no pan! I can't believe how long this is actually lasting me for. I'm still using this every. single. day. all over my face and I can't believe it's not even close to hitting pan. Or maybe it is? Who knows maybe next month I'll have hit pan. Cross your fingers everyone, I really want to get through this one soon!
4 PRODUCTS OUT, 4 PRODUCTS IN:

I've been using more cream concealers than ever, and although I lean more towards the Boi-ing Industrial Strength concealer, I really want to make more use out of this particular one as well! Let's see how long this will last me, as I have already made a pretty good dent in it.
YSL The Shock waterproof mascara
So after I started using this one, I totally realised I was planning on picking up the non-waterproof version, which has a pink metallic lid instead of a black one. I'm not a massive fan of waterproof mascaras as they are a pain to get off, but I must say this one holds a curl very well. I usually only use this now for when I have an event or a night out, but never on the daily. I want to start using this a bit more for regular work days, and see how I get on with it. I have super watery eyes so it might actually turn out to be my new favourite mascara for everyday!
Urban Decay The Velvetizer translucent mix-in medium
Obviously this product is designed for mixing in with foundations to make them less glowy and more full-coverage, but I've found that it's such a faff and isn't really my favourite thing to do. This powder is just so finely milled and can easily be used for setting your makeup as well. It will even have more effect (at least, the mattifying-part) that way, so I'm planning on using it as a loose setting powder. I'mm have to experiment with it a bit, as I haven't used it loads yet, and I'm used to using a pressed powder. I hope I will get on with this well.
Mac x Fleur DeForce cremesheen lipstick - Cool Beige
I'm using this a lot already and even though I'll use it a lot anyways, I'm really determined to get this one over with! Admittedly, I'll be so sad when it's gone as it's a super pretty shade, but it's one that I can't really mention on my blog without going "oh I'm so sorry it's the perfect lipstick but it was limited edition so you can't get it anymore". That's why I really want to finish it up. I'll have to find a good dupe though, and I haven't done that yet...
Lots of love,
