Shopping My Stash

10:00

Hey peeps!

We makeup collectors sometimes forget what we have in our stash. It's easy to overlook what we haven't used loads or what we don't reach for on a daily basis. Today I want to dig out a few products I haven't used it a while or haven't used loads ever since I got them.

Becca Eye Lights Palette - Après Ski Glow collection (Ltd. Ed.)

I must admit I haven't used this one loads. I picked it up mainly to use the highlight shades as actual face highlighter. I still think to this day it's a really pretty palette and I've used it once or twice, but I definitely think I need to use it more! I'll try to keep my eyes on it the next few months.

Mac Technakohl Liner - Brass Band

Honestly this pencil is so pretty on the lower lash line, and I used to be all about the bronze eye look but I've been leaning more towards red-toned coppers and all that. I definitely think I should whip it out a bit more. It's such a stunnig shade and I really don't know why I stopped wearing it!

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow - Bronze Have More Fun

Again, a bronze eye shadow that I completely lost track of. It's quite dark in shade so maybe that's why, as it can easily turn into a smokey eye with this one. Still, this is such a pretty product (I don't think they make these anymore though, such a shame) and I really should wear it more often. Maybe for the winter times it will come in more handy.

Burberry Light Glow Natural Blush - Earthy Blush No. 07

This contour shade is so stunning but I rarely ever contour at all anymore. Plus, I've found a few products recently that I like to reach for when I do, e.g. the Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Mocha, and my Nip+Fab contour palette. Really, I do think I need to make more use out of this beautiful powder. Maybe it's because it was so expensive that I don't really want to use it up? Who knows.

Illamasqua Powder Blusher - Naked Rose

I have barely touched this blush ever since I got it! Probably because I'm emptying a blush for my Project Pan. I recently dug it up and have since used it once or twice, but I definitely think I should start wearing it more in winter. It's quite a pale, dusty rose shade so I do think it suits me better in winter rather than summer, as it doesn't really match with a very tanned look.

Bobbi Brown High Light Powder - Pink Glow

Last but not least is this gorgeous highlighter. I've used it loads in the past and it was one of my first highlighters I owned. This was still limited edition back when I got it a few years ago and it has since been released into the permanent collection, with the classic black packaging. this shade is so beautiful but I know I've bought a lot of highlighters ever since, which I tend to reach for a bit more. Plus, who ever gets through an entire powder highlighter, really? I will keep this a little bit more within reach so I think of wearing it a bit more often.

Lots of love,
