Project Pan That Product: update #35

10:00

Hey peeps!

A new month always means a new update on my Project Pan That Product on the blog.
Here we go.

I took out the Nyx HD Studio Photogenic concealer and replaced it with the Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush concealer. I also replaced the Maybelline Total Temptation mascara with the YSL The Shock waterproof mascara. The Rimmel Insta Fix&Matte powder is out and the Urban Decay The Velvetizer translucent mix-in medium is in. Lastly, I decided to take out the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow 'n' Arrow and added in the MacxFleur DeForce cremesheen lipstick in Cool Beige instead.

Today, the products look like this:

The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick - Nevada Gold

I must be honest with you here, this one is going to take a looooong time to finish up... I think I just really underestimated how little you actually need of this in one go. I also tend to not reach for it all that much anymore, but I still really want to keep it in my pan-drawer just in case I ever feel like it. I really just teach myself to use it more often, e.g. for a bit of highlighting on the inner corners.

Urban Decay The Velvetizer translucent mix-in medium

I love using this one on the daily! In the heat that we've had in summer I really think this one came in handy. I really have to use it sparingly, as a little goes a long way. I love using the Real Techniques setting brush to pick this up for underneath the eyes, while I go in with a bigger powder brush to set the rest of my face. This powder works really well with dewy foundations and I'm so happy to be giving this a proper go. It's a bit bulky though, I must say, so it doesn't even fit in my Muji drawers, which sucks. That's sort of the only issue I have with it. I can't really tell how far along I am with it as it's practically impossible to see what's going on on the inside...

Nyx Away We Glow liquid highlighter - 04 Crystal Glare

I've used this a bit less over the past month. Again, with the warm weather and holidays I have really been experimenting with other products in my collection. It's not been a very good month for my project, let me tell you that :) I still think it's a really great product and I should start wearing it more often again in the upcoming month.

Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush

The an size and shape changes every month, but ever so slightly. If you'd have a really close look you could see that a lot of product is used up, actually, and it's really just the edges that are higher up. I've just not become tired of using this blush yet, as it's really the perfect one for me. I better start looking for a similar shade now that I can actually see myself using this up.

Mac x Fleur DeForce cremesheen lipstick - Cool Beige

I know this was almost gone last month, but I've ben using it loads ever since. Now I do like to change up my lipstick (or any other product) a bit more when I'm on holiday but on the daily, this is the one I go for. I wonder how long it's going to last me for... So in the meantime, do you know of any good alternatives to this lipstick? I really need to keep this shade in my life.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer

Ahh, right after I posted last month's update, I hit pan on this bronzer - FINALLY! I'm so happy with the progress and all I can say further is that I've still been using this every single day. Curious to see how long it will hold up now!

YSL The Shock waterproof mascara

This mascara is SO. HARD. TO. GET. OFF. in the evening, but when I need one that I can rely on, I know this one won't let me down. Especially with the heat in summer, this was such a great addition to my routine. I mainly use it for days where I need the longevity, if I'm out and about all day or when I'm going out. I love the look of it though, it is just a dead-simple separating mascara, not too much volume but a little bit lengthening, and it holds a curl so well. It's an interesting one, but I'm now super curious for the non-waterproof version as well.

Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush concealer

I think I've made good use out of this concealer in the past month, and I must say - although it's not my absolute number 1 concealer - it's a pretty good one for the warmer months. It is very lightweight and moussey in texture, which is just what I'm looking for when I'm a bit sweaty. You do need to set this one with powder though, as I've had some mishaps with it in the past. (Mascara running into the concealer, it was not a good look!)

I haven't used up anything this month! Which makes sense, since I threw out 4 products last month. All the products are still going strong. That's alright though, I'm chuffed with the progress I've made.

Lots of love,
