October Favourites

10:00

Hey peeps!

How are we already at the end of October? I don't want to sound like a walking cliché but, oh my.
Lots of money has been spent over the past couple of weeks and so I have a few new favourites yhat I'd love to share with you all.

Quick mention before I start, I did pick up the Urban Decay Naked Cherry palette but only very recently got it in the mail so I didn't think I could give my opinion on it yet. I might do a full review with swatches if anyone's interested - but I do think a lot of big youtubers and bloggers have already done that... Still interested? Please do let me know down below so I can do an in-depth review!

Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour auto-replenishing hydrator

I picked this up in a set last month as I was running out of daily moisturiser anyways. I had tried this before in a sample size and remember I got on with it very well. It's quite an affordable one, considering it's Clinique, and I thought it would be great to try it out for the colder days. My skin was definitely in need of some extra moisture, without making it greasy as I have enough of that already. I think this is such a good one, it's nothing too fancy but does the job well. I think I might be hooked on it for the next couple of months and I highly recommend it.

Clinique Chubby Stick coloured lip balm - 02 Whole Lotta Honey

This chubby stick was part of the Clinique set I got and although I god rid of the previous chubby sticks, this balmy one is really interesting and has a great colour for the autumn. It doesn't stay all that well, the pigment I mean, but I've been enjoying using it a lot this month as it really nourishes my lips while giving them a bit of colour. The browny nude tone really does add somthing to my everyday normal makeup routine and I'm all about that.

Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray

So, I'm a bit on the fence with this one. I love that I've discovered a new volumising spray and I must say it does a pretty great job. It seems to last a long time as well, since I've used this every time after washing my hair (which is every other day) and it looks like I've barely used it. The thing I'm not sure about is I think it might make my hair a bit greasy, which I'm not about. I'm still sort of figuring out the best way to use this, as I'm sure it does good for my flat-falling hair, but I just need to make sure I don't overuse it or spray it too closely to my scalp. The right dose is needed to find the balance between texture and greasiness, but I'm sure I'll find it soon.

BE Creative Makeup powder brush 07*

I'm really wondering when Ici Paris XL (which is sort of our version of Sephora) is going to release these, as I saw them as an exclusive preview and received this one in a goodie bag at an event, I'm dying to get my hands on some more of their re-vamped collection on brushes. The hairs are so soft and this brush is mahoosive, plus they are not too expensive. I've seen some other of their brushes and they are all stunning. An extra point that makes them so great is that they are 100% synthetic, so vegan lovers: here you go.

Diptyque Baies candle

A bit of lifestyle now, I've had this candle for the longest time now but I'm so cautious with burning very expensive candles, I barely get the use out of them. Honestly I've found a dupe for this one from Rituals which is about half the price and you even get a bigger candle, but nonetheless I absolutely adore this one from Diptyque, it smells so rich and you really don't neet to burn it very long for it to give off the scent for an entire evening. I cannot wait for it to become a brush holder in my makeup storage once it's finished.

Chloé Faye Day large textured-leather shoulder bag - taupe

I DID IT. I saved up for this gorgeous designer bag I've had my eye on for the longest time, and it's finally mine! (Also, Net-à-porter had a 15% sale on a few weeks ago so I really just couldn't turn down that offer). The Chloe Faye collection is just so gorgeous, and although I first wanted a black Medium Faye, I thought I would get more use out of the large one, as I'm someone that likes to carry around a lot of stuff, and since the price wasn't so different to the medium I thought I'd better go for this one. This colour is one I don't own in my collection yet, strangely enough (other than my Michael Kors Jet, but that's a big shopper bag that I use for work nowadays). I love the detailing on this bag so much, it has the gorgeous zippers that hide a bit of suède behind them, the classic ring in the front with the chain attached to it that makes a Chloé Faye so iconic. I'm in actual love with this bag. The only tiny little detail I would have loved to see different on it was the closing: it looks brilliant and it is so much more secure than any other magnetic closing, I just wonder why it is silver rather than gold coloured. Every other piece of hardware on this bag is gold, why is this one in silver? I just don't really get it. But I can get over that little detail, as the rest of the bag is so utterly gorgeous.

I will treasure this with all my heart, as it bloody cost me an arm and a leg.

I'd love to know what you've been loving this month, let me know in the comments below!

Lots of love,
