Project Pan That Product: update #36

10:00

Hey peeps!

A new month always means a new update on my Project Pan That Product on the blog.
Here we go.

I didn't take out any products, as I've gone through a few over the last few months and none of the recently added ones were as far as being used up yet!

Today, the products look like this:

The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick - Nevada Gold

Honestly I forgot to use this so much, and I accidentally pushed it too hard while checking how much was left in there, so it broke and now I can't use it anymore! There was still a decent amount left in there but I think I've used up a bit as well. I'll have to change it up for something else now...

Urban Decay The Velvetizer translucent mix-in medium

I've been using this loads recently as it keeps me matte so well. It's just so annoying to not be able to see how much is still left in there through the tin. I did manage to take out the sifter and it's still over half full. This will take me a long time to finish up, I'm sure!

Nyx Away We Glow liquid highlighter - 04 Crystal Glare

I've had my ups and downs with this highlighter. I love using this as a base for a powder highlighter so that it's more intense and stays put longer, but when I'm in a rush and I apply this one, it doesn't stick around for very long. I'll usually use this when I'm only going out for an hour or two, but for a whole day this doesn't really do it for me. I do think I'm using up quite a bit as I can see air bubbles in there that didn't use to be there and for what it's worth, it looks like I've used up a certain amount.

Chanel Jardin De Chanel blush

I really think this month's progress is very noticable, as the pan just keeps on growing! I have such a mixed feeling with this blush progressing, as it's so beautiful and I don't want it to be gone, but I'm also so chuffed with how I'm finally getting on with it. I might have found a replacement for it in the CHarlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic blush I recently picked up, but I'll definitely report back on that once I've used that one more.

Mac x Fleur DeForce cremesheen lipstick - Cool Beige

This is starting to become a tiny little nub and I reckon it will be gone by next month. Another product I'll be so sad about when it's gone. It's one of the very few none-matte lipsticks I own and I've gotten so used to the finish of it, any other matte lipstick seems to dry out my lips so badly! I need to find a replacement for it before it's gone... I have found a great shade match within my own collection though, with the Dose Of Colours liquid lipstick in Truffle. When I blend that out a bit it looks almost exactly the same, the only thing is that that one is matte...

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer

Everyday I'm crumblin'. Some tiny bit of powder seems to crumble off every time I go to use it. That's totally okay though, it means i'm getting through it at last. I don't think it will take me that long anymore to finish up and I can say goodbye to old-packaging-milk-chocolate-bronzer.

YSL The Shock waterproof mascara

I'm so hooked on this mascara and it's been one of the only mascaras I can actually wear the past months. My eyes are getting more sensitive every day (especially with glittery eyeshadows or just old eyeshadow palettes, they can really sting my eyes) so all I do all day is rub them. It's nice to know that I can do that whilst not completely ruining my mascara with this waterproof one. I love the look of it for a regular work day as well, and after I finish up my 5+ backup mascaras I'll be sure to repurchase this. I don't think I'm near to getting rid of this one yet, it's not dried up in the slightest and I will go through with this one for a few more months.

Benefit Boi-ing Airbrush concealer

I've been emptying a whole lot of pot concealers, but surprisingly not this one! Since I've added this to the project, I've emptied my Benefit Boiing Industrial Strength and also my BareMinerals Correcting Concealer. But I have made quite the dent in this concealer, don't get me wrong. Just not every day. And the other two were on their last legs anyways. This is sure to be the next one I'll hit pan on, although it feels like there's so much product still left in there. To be continued...

One product out, one to be entered into the project:

H&M High Impact Eye Colour - Shiitake

I've been umming and erring about getting rid of this one, or better: to give it a new home where someone will actually use it a lot. I think there's definitely a shade like this somewhere in one of my eyeshadow palettes, but I never reach for my palettes for just one shade, so I ended up keeping it for myself. I now think this is the perfect opportunity to start using it more and since I keep my work face very simple, this might be a nice one to throw on in a few seconds in the morning and looking a bit more put together.

Lots of love,
