Currently In Rotation #12

Hey everyone!

Today I want to give you another look into the makeup that is currently in my daily routine, things I'm trying out, things I've dug out of my collection, things I'm using apart from the Project Pan stuff I'm using up.

YSL Touche Éclat

I've been using this on and off over the years and have empties multiple of them in the past. It's been a while since I actually used this one but I've found back my love for it. It's such a good one in combination with any other liquid concealer.

Benefit 3D Brow Contour

This is such an odd product, and although I thought I would love it (since I absolutely adore some of their regular brow pencils and the shade selection of those is amazing), but I actually don't like the shades of this range. I own the lightest out of five shades, and the lightest of the two brow shades is borderline too dark, even for my eyebrows. I wonder how people with any lighter brows than me make it work with this pencil. Then there are the highlight and define shade, both of which are almost exactly the same shade (at least in the lightest shade set-up). I wish the highlight shade would have a slight sheen or shimmer to it. I had hoped this wouldn't be as gimmicky as the other click-pens around, but alas. Still, I want to make the most out of this pencil.

l'Oréal Paradise Extatic mascara

I'm back on this one as I remembered it being so good. It's one of the only non-waterproof mascaras lately that can actually keep up my lashes for an entire day and performs the way I want it to: it gives volume and still separates my lashes. I do have a waterproof version of this one laying around, waiting to be tested out, so I'm curious to start on that one soon!

l'Oréal True Match powder foundation

I've been loving wearing powder foundation lately and although I'm hooked on the BareMinerals one, when I saw this in store I couldn't not pick it up. It's quite chalky and has a lot of kick back when I put in my brush, but it is a perfect match for my skin tone and I love the way it performs throughout the day. I can highly recommend this one!

Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer - Vanilla Light 2

I'm back on the high coverage concealer this winter and I have made such a serious dent into this one! It's just such a good one, it stays put all day and really covers my blemishes well. The shade is ever so slightly too light for me, although I can make it work in this season, but I have the Crème Brulée Light 2.5 one as a backup for when I run out of this one closer to spring. Can't believe I'm so hooked on a concealer, tbh. But I am.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry eyeshadow palette

I got this one in last month (obviously I'm a Naked palette collector so I had to get this) and I've been experimenting with it a lot. I think this is such a good replacement for the Naked 3 palette, which I do own but is definitely expired and I can't safely use anymore. It has some great neutral shades in here, as well as the promised purple and pink shades. Again, Urban Decay has nailed it with the layout of the colours and is so well thought out. Thumbs up!

Lots of love,
