Festive makeup look

Hi everyone!
I'm sharing a little festive makeup look with you all today. Nothing too special, but a nice, classic gold-eye-red-lip Christmas look.
Hope you enjoy!

I do my base the same everytime so I'm going to skip those steps in this post, so I'm starting with the description after primer, foundation, concealer and powder.
To contour I've used my trusty Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, going in with the Sculpt shade to give me some cheekbones and hide my double chin. To bronze up my face some more I've gone for the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Luminous Multi-Colour Powder in Medium. Chanel does this type of bronzer every year and I just love it so much! I apply this in a 3-shape along my forehead, cheeks and jawline, then tie it together by going over my cheeks and nose (remember the sun-stripping micro-trend from .a few years back? Jep, I still do my bronzer like that).
To warm up my cheeks just a little bit, I've gone for my Mac Melba blush. I thought it would give me a healthy-looking flush along the rather cool-toned eyes and lips. For my highlight I reached for the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow again, this time using the highlighter on the high points of the cheeks, brow bone and bridge of the nose.
Onto the eyes! After priming my lids I went in with the H&M High Impact Eye Colour in Shiitake, one that is very daytime appropriate. I applied this all over the lid with a fluffy brush. To define the crease just a little bit I went in with the Urban Decay Born To Run palette and used a mix of Still Shot and Riff, again on a fluffy brush, and ran what was left over on the brush along the lower lash line. To highlight the inner corners I used Breakaway and Stranded.
The star of the eye-look must be the Collection Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel Liner in 3 Funk. I applied this as I would a normal black liquid liner, and I think it worked out really well!
A good coat of Eyeko Black Magic mascara and the eye look is finished.
With a festive eye look we need an even more festive lipstick. Because there is a lot of glitter going on around the eyes I wanted to keep my lips matte. I slightly overdrew my lips with the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Spike. Such a good deep burgundy red shade that will definitely last you through christmas dinner...

Lots of love,
