I have an exciting update for you on my future home!

I recently had the chance to visit the building site for a first in-between check-up. They still had to plaster the whole thing, but it was mostly to have a look at the electricity and stuff. That way I could check if everything was according to plan and how we agreed on it.

I would love to share the photos of that visit with you here today, and also give you a little bit of insight into the ways I'm decorating my apartment (aka a 'small space') and making some of the corners multi-purpose.

This post is very much TL;DR, so I'm sorry if this is not your jam, beauty posts will continue shortly. This is a way for me to document the progress of my apartment and to give you an insight on my way of thinking when I'm designing it.

A week into January, I decided to start using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam palette again. 

Then I thought it would be fun to keep it within reach so I could use it a lot more in the next weeks, because I've been neglecting it for the longest time. 

Then I thought: why not set myself the goal to use it for an entire month and document it on instagram? 

I am sharing my looks on my stories, but I definitely wanted to highlight a few of my favourite looks I did this month in this post.

In the spirit of spending less money on beauty products I don't need, I thought I would make a full blog post on the topic. It's more so for myself - to remind me of all the things I really don't need to buy this year - than for other people, but as one of my resolutions for this year is to blog for fun, I want to start considering my blog more like a diary again, just like I started out with it. So, here goes nothing. All the products I will try to remind myself NOT TO BUY any time soon.

I do want to do a reflection on this post at the end of the year and see how far I've come. I might do a cheeky update somewhere in the summer, too.
